Office Recycling Environmental Membership Scheme

Following a requirement to offer a national collection service for mixed material from offices, we are happy to introduce a new ‘one stop shop’ service.

The aim of the office recycling service is to encompass the collection requirements of a multi functional site where a wide range of small materials are required to be collected and recycled on a regular ongoing basis.

The system operates on companies joining a ‘Annual Recycling Member Scheme’ for a pre-determined fixed fee dependant on schedule of collections required and size of site.

Once joined, the system works on the basis of a single vehicle, visiting site on a pre-scheduled day and removing the set advised packaged recyclable material inclusively. At the same time the collection vehicle also facilitates the collection of a wider range of materials for disposal there by reducing the need for extra collections and transport costs in addition to reducing ‘waste miles’ and the ‘carbon footprint’.

Other additional waste streams for disposal or destruction consist of confidential disposal, WEEE (waste electricals) or other hazardous items. These are recorded, collected and charged by the item at that point. A pre-agreed schedule of rates attached to the membership.

As an office recycling scheme member each collection site will be supplied with an annual environmental certificate detailing the actual ‘Landfill Division Volumes’ and recycling figures for the previous period. You will also be one step ahead of legislation, by 2015 the EU have set strict objectives which will ban paper, glass, textiles, metal and plastic from being landfilled to improve recycling.

All schemes include a recycling starter pack, consisting of 5 x standard internal recycling bins, 1 x box of 100 recycling bags and 1 x BattClear Battery box.

All items ordered are delivered and installed on initial setup.

Waste to be accessible from single ground floor location and stored in suitable container(s)

Annual membership fees are charged in advance.

Additional services are available upon request outside of the agreed schedule, these are chargeable at agreed rates

Annual Environmental Landfill Diversion reports are provided for all service options.

Please note that the quarterly schedule is only available to offices/sites with 10 people or fewer.

Confidential Waste Taken: A variety of options for safe storage of confidential waste are available, to ensure your confidential waste material is handled correctly all our vehicles are tracked and our premises is fitted with CCTV. Upon successful destruction of the confidential waste material a certificate of destruction is provided. We are able to treat the following as confidential waste;

WEEE (Electrical) Wastes Taken: All WEEE waste is taking to an AATF approved recycling factility. Items are charged at pre-agreed rates along with consignment note per collection along with ensuring full compliance of all regulations and directives.
